SAGAMU, Nigeria — Atlantic Industrial Group today officially announced the commencement of operations of its fully integrated aluminum coil production line, a significant advancement in Nigeria’s industrial capability and a key step toward localized metal processing.
The new production line—situated within the 100-hectare Atlantic Industrial Park—is designed to meet international manufacturing standards, bringing together advanced Chinese metallurgy technology with Nigeria’s rapidly growing industrial demand. This achievement is part of the Group’s broader strategy to accelerate industrialization through cluster-based development and deepen China–Nigeria cooperation in high-value manufacturing.
Equipped with automated rolling, annealing, and surface treatment systems, the aluminum coil line enables local transformation of raw materials into high-value aluminum products, reducing import dependency while supporting Nigeria’s construction, energy, packaging, and automotive sectors. With stable power from the park’s 50MW substation and continuous natural gas supply from the 5MMSCF station, the facility ensures uninterrupted industrial performance.
“This production line represents more than new equipment—it represents new opportunities for Nigeria’s manufacturing future,” said the CEO of West Africa Aluminium. “By converting local resources into high-quality industrial products, we strengthen the value chain, create employment, and contribute directly to national economic resilience.”
The project is expected to generate new technical and operational job opportunities, foster advanced manufacturing skills, and further stimulate local supply-chain activity. It also reinforces Atlantic Industrial Group’s commitment to delivering reliable infrastructure, efficient investment deployment, and sustainable industrial growth for both nations.
With the aluminum coil line now fully operational, Atlantic Industrial Group continues to expand its industrial clusters, uphold high standards of energy reliability, and support Nigeria’s long-term industrial transformation.
